Biogas From Human Waste

Tub Human Waste
Increasingly, fuel derived from fossil such as oil, gas, and, coal dwindling. Surely this fuel will run out. So need to find a substitute fuel is more environmentally friendly.

The first do is provide a container or vessel for processing organic manure into biogas. If it is only in private, just use a tub made of cement that is wide enough or the drums are still quite strong. Besides the necessity of willingness of manure (either beef or lamb) which is the raw material of biogas. If it is difficult to find animal waste, then it's useless wrote. It required a survey in advance. Or if you want a little intention, septic tanks can be used as done in India.

The second process is the mixing of organic manure with water. Usually a mixture of dirt and water using a ratio of 1:1 or can also use the ratio 1:1.5. Water is very important role in the biological process of biogas production. That is not too much (too much) is also not too little (deficiency).
Biogas Working
The temperature during the process, because it concerns the "pleasure" of living bacteria biogas processors between 27-28 degrees Celsius. With temperatures that the process of making biogas will be run in accordance with the time. But it's different when the temperature is too low (cold), then the time to become biogas will be longer.

The presence of processing bodies, or bodies which have the ability to describe materials that eventually form CH4 (methane gas) and CO2. In the dirt enclosure, sewer sludge or waste and straw, and other waste materials, many microorganisms, either bacteria or fungi decomposing material was obtained. But the problem is the result descriptions may not necessarily be expected and CH4 have the ability as a fuel.

To obtain the desired biogas, tank (vessel) of organic manure should be anaerobic. In other words, the tank that there should be no oxygen and the incoming air so that organic waste is put in a bioreactor can be converted microbes. The presence of air causes the CH4 gas will not be formed. For that the vessel biogas makers must be closed tightly.

Once this process is complete, then during the period of 1 week is silenced, then the methane is formed and supplied ready for culinary purposes. But there are some things to consider in utilizing biogas. Like for example the nature of biogas which is colorless, odorless and very fast burning.

Therefore if the lights or stoves have a leak, it would be difficult to know as soon as possible. Unlike the other gas properties, a case of LPG, it is because the smell will quickly be known in case of leaks in the tool used. The nature of fast burning biogas, is also a problem in itself. This means that in terms of user safety. So the place of manufacture or storage of biogas should always be away from sources of ignition that might cause an explosion if the pressure is great.
